It was a top effort, gutted for him. Just a few too many errors at crucial stages and Rublev's experience showed but I've every confidence that he'll learn from it.
Shapo of course is coached by Jamie Delgado now. Not sure how their partnership is perceived, Shapo hasnt actually done that well since they joined up forces, sadly.
Im not going to be quite as negative as say Novak in 3 sets. Andy played some sensational stuff there and seems to have found a lot of confidence on the clay here. It will certainly be very interesting. Great to see him into the 60s ranking wise that should put away the wild card fairies.

Yes, forgot that Re ranking. Lendl really does make a difference I feel, Andy listens to him it seems.
