Grass season starts the last weekend in May with Surbiton and , for men, spreads over the events below.
Vote here for the player you think will win the most grass court matches over the 2022 season - I am counting main draw and qualifying wins, incl the WC Play Offs; just singles.
NOTE - if play goes indoors in a grass court event, any wins gained indoors WILL count in this competition
I will close the votes before play starts on the Sunday at Surbiton and then keep track and update as the grass season passes. Please comment and add, it makes it more fun!
I have listed the top 19 currently ranked British players below - there is room on the poll for 20 so I have put that as AN Other - if you plump for AN Other ,say who you have in mind and we can see who is right at the end; as it is MD and Qualies, it could be interesting. For reference, I will post later on who got the most wins last year!
NB Kyle Edmund not included as we know he is injured and not playing the grass season

Just a suggestion might be worth splitting the events list up with
week 22
Surbiton
week 23
Nottingham
etc...
Always a tough one as players often play above their natural level due to WCs, so struggle. However I reckon the winner is most likely to be someone that plays the 3 ITFS. If that player plays some higher events with WCs with some success but then also the M25's. I'm thinking an Anton or Ali.

Could be a good thought re the ITF level players - it is hard, mens is wide open. The ITF's make a difference as last year it was the top players who came out on top, both mens and womens, but we had no ITF's last year or indeed much in the way of Challengers and qualies for the lower level players to rack up wins
Please note for 2021 the Wild Card Play-off event will not take place due to the on-going Covid-19 pandemic so all Qualifying Wild cards will be awarded by the AELTC and the LTA recommendations will be as per outlined in this document.
