Dang re Andy - how bad is it, might he wild card at Eastbourne?

Probably wouldn't want one if he's hoping to be properly fit for Wimbledon.

A few more details from the Beeb.  He may take part in an exhibition tournament at Hurlingham next week.

Peniston vs Rudd underway. Rudd may well win 99 times out of 100 but, first match on Grass against Ryan who has won a few matches.....could this be the one?

Ruud its a heavy ball and suspect he will find a way, but I think Ryan does stand a chance.

Paul is keeping tight with the Dutch guy VDZ (not going to risk spelling it) , hope he can force a tie break

Ryan certainly not looking out of place at the moment.    If he can maintain his momentum, it'll be shock of the week - & surely a guaranteed WC for the Wimbledon main draw.

Paul now *0-2 in the decider.  Time to dig deep, lad...

Casper looks at all at sea, Ryan just needs to keep doing his thing and take the chance.

Going to be hard from here for Paul, good effort so far though

Ruud is too far back, too much of a clay look to his shots, but very close

Ryan, allez!

Surely Ryan is 100% certain now? 2 top 100 wins on grass already, and beaten LTA future hope Draper. Now taken a set from a top 5 player.... I don't feel like many British wildcards have deserved it as much as he has over the grass period.

Ryan before today was the 4th highest ranked player without an ATP appearance - he is making a good debut today!

I think we can assume Liam, Jay, Ryan and Paul J are all certainties, not just on the grass but on their rankings and seasons overall, dont see any questions about those 4 now (Jay until his recent title, but that sorted him out, IMO).

Van Rijthoven has one it is being said (not seen anything official but PaulM reported it from somewhere)
