Main Draw Wild Card maybe?

Ah yes, I was forgetting Alastair went to Queen's instead so evidently leaving a spare MD WC. Maybe ...

I guess as all are wildcards they would inevitably get seeds in round one. Interested to see how Anton comes out of the blocks.

Arthur Fery gets the final wild card. Draw out. What a field though . Not so much ranking as calibre of player

With a field including Seppi, Millman, Pouille, Verdasco, Kukushkin, pospisil , Herbert, Sock, Vesely and , of course, Simon, Rosol, Lacko, and Bemelmans in qualies. And then some Brits . Its a very interesting field, even if not quite as highly ranked as the last two challengers. Thompson is top seed here and was 7 in Surbiton and 3 in Nottingham.

Out of curiosity, why the faces for the first two only?

For instance, Daniel Cox is lower ranked than Anton and facing a higher ranked opponent.

Glad Arthur Féry got a wildcard - was expecting him to get something somewhere

Just as a reminder, Luca Pow is our junior U18 champion who has a Wimbledon quali wildcard so needs some practice matches on grass

Believe it or not, I actually forgot to add them!    I agree with you that they both warranted one.

The only British players here in all 3 draws have wildcards, not a single DA.

Yes, although that's partly/mainly because of the overlap with Queen - all the normal entrants are playing there
