Week 24 - ATP Challenger 125 - Ilkley Trophy - Ilkley, Great Britain (grass)

Arthur is just in the second set.

6-4 *1-4

Edit: Ah sorry, SC meant Cam rather than Arthur ( or indeed the cat )

Ummm whats going on in the Fery match?!

Er, Arthur's just won the first set by 6-4 (could've been 6-2)?  confuse

Played well too. But at 2-2 (i think) it went to deuce and then Lestienne just ran to his chair and sat down and refused to play? Then Fery started arguing with him or the umpire. Lestienne was then given a warning for delaying the game or something and then just carried on as normal? Very strange

Ah, now I see.  I was unable to comment, as I'm watching's Cam's match against Dimitrov at Queen's on BBC2 (with the cat curled up in the crook of my right arm wink ) & he's in trouble in the final set... hmm

I was about to ask why the cat is in trouble in the final set, but I guess I misread it

Yes, you did.  He's not (the cat, that is).  Cam still in trouble...

That was a match that Arthur will have big regrets about

Felix played some decent enough tennis - he was certainly not made to look a fool on the court by the top-100 player - some nice winners - good serves - but Millman was 100% in control for the whole of that match and knew exactly what he had to do

Gojo has got lucky. First he gets LL spot when Van Rijthoven pulled out after his title in Netherlands. Now his 7th seeded opponent, Jason Kubler, has pulled out and he plays fellow LL Popyrin. The winner of that plays Sebastian Ofner, who was in the draw on a PR.

Instinct tells me that in fact it will be Popyrin who ends up getting luckiest from that section

Charlie and Dan are on court - before today, Charlie was the 4th highest ranked player without a Challenger appearance - not anymore!

However, Dan has the experience and an early break
