Whereas mine yesterday (not so good) was when I looked at livescores for Max Basing and saw above that there was a doubles match with 'Jett Middleton/Blake Kasday' which somehow I read as 'Kate Middleton' and thought 'why's she over there playing tennis, I thought she had all that jubilee stuff going on'........ it was late.... as though the jubliee part was the biggest problem with her being entered for a 15k men's tennis doubles pro event nonono

SF:  (3) Jonny O'Mara & Ken Skupski CR 188 (76+112) vs (WC) Arthur Féry & Felix Gill CR 1363 (734+629)

Divided loyalties time, but at least there'll be guaranteed Brit finalists.

The youngsters had several break points, and Arthur made some horrible missed second serve returns - really poor.

And then got broken. Deserved it.

6-4 to Jonny/Ken

My lads played a pretty flat, uninspired match today - not much to like there

But at least they chose to do it when the guys on the other side of the net were British - which is great

So having played a doubles SF, next up is Julian & Henry's QF.

Though I note that they will have to wait for Kukushkin to complete his singles QF and have a suitable rest so I now understand why they are the second doubles match on.

Marvellous and two straight finals for cash and Patten. They sound like a pair of lawyers , dont they ?

Go, team GB!

Love the fact that Papi Ken is there, and US college lads, and Jonny who has sort of done his own path....

Absolutely brilliant....... always taken an interest in Brighton boy Julian. Watched him play a bit on Tuesday, whilst standing next to Louis Cayer (I think). Delighted they've made it to the final.
