yeah, he was 3-0 down as well. O'Connell beat Ali Gray last week, I think, in Surbiton.

Well done, Andy, eased through it eventually - from 3-0 down it was 6-1 6-3 so not too bad

How could he possibly have been 0-3 in the first set & then won it by 6-1!   wink

Sorry, i meant in terms of games from that point it was 6-1 (making the set 6-4 as he was 0-3 down). So he gave the guy an effective head start and then mopped up comfortably

Does that make sense?!biggrin

 oh...mmm.

So, Andy went 0-3 down, ok, I think we are agreed on that.

From that point, he won the rest of the games in that set 6 to 1...does that explain!

Matches would generally be very comfortable if you took out some of the games players lose

L16:  Andy Murray WR 68 vs (7) Alexander Bublik (KAZ) WR 42 (CH = 30 in February)

Andy leads the head-to-head by 2-1.  Bublik won their last encounter in Indian Wells earlier this year in straight sets (last 64), while Andy won in Rotterdam, also earlier this year (first round, straight sets) & in the first round at Wimbledon in 2017, again in straight sets.
