Id give Paul Jubb followed by Alistair the best chances from that. Tough for all, one through would be above par here.

Though from the way the Brits have been generally performing in this grass season, including some here, I'd fancy at least one to win.

Remember Paul Jubb beat Johnson in Queens qualies in 3 sets just a week ago

Ymer is beatable on grass, Duckworth will be too much for Dan Cox I think; Liam can beat Gaston.

I will go for 2 wins here

I notice there is one alt position left in qualies draw, at the bottom, not sure if that goes by ranking or who is onsite or a Brit can get it ?

I remember back around 1983, Sweden and New Zealand played a Davis Cup tie at Devonshire Park. New Zealand where the home team and it was July. Chris Lewis of course was their top player and Wimbledon finalist just the week before.

Rather than drag all the players too New Zealand mid season and because they thought grass was the best surface for them, they chose to play it in Eastbourne.

Sweden won.

Thanks Jon - and it looks like the grass at Eastbourne was still being used in October that year for our own relegation playoff...time to bring back the autumnal grass season I say ;)

Not sure how it works but Chinese junior Shang, aged 17, takes the final alt spot. Assuming I have the correct Shang? Cant see him on any lists though, just going by the other lists update Twitter account

The slot has gone to an unknown (to me at any rate) Chinese, Shang Juncheng.

Just to point out that, according to dartsrankings, Cam Norrie should be the top seed, while Dan Evans just misses out on a seeding.  Jack Draper, Jay Clarke & Ryan Peniston all have WCs.  Following the withdrawal of Joe & Rajeev, the only Brit interest in the doubles if through Jamie Murray & Lloyd Glasspool.
