What Jack has done here reminds me of Andy making his breakthrough all those years back, the good news being Jack appears strong and fit.
I would reckon / wager, Jack will be top 50 by year end. In fact , we will have Cam, Dan, Andy and Jack top 50
Looks v likely if he can keep fit. He's only got 68 points to defend until the end of the year out of his 537 accrued at the moment if I've added it up correctly. And he really doesn't look out of place playing against top 50 players, at least on grass. I really like the sound of his coach as well, he seems meticulous in his preparations for Jack while always looking calm courtside. He's also got a good personality which helps with all the interview stuff. I think he's lucky too having a few other players around him who are also doing well. From memory Andy had to carry a lot more of British hopes, which must have been really hard.

James Trotman (Jack's coach) won the Wimbledon boys' doubles with Martin Lee in 1995 and was coached for a while at Bisham Abbey by Pat Cash's former coach Ian Barclay so had a great example to follow.

He certainly seems to have picked up good coaching habits! They were saying in the interview pre-Jack's match yesterday that he was focusing with him how to play just against serve-volley tactics rather than ground strokes because of the opponent's style and it v nearly paid off for Jack. Also I remember Jack saying in an interview how he'd been working so hard in his strength and condition pre-season block so he'd not had so many niggling injuries as in the past. As you say, if James actually played and won at Wimbledon, he's probably got insights as to how to deal with the pressure.
James Trotman's singles career also sadly never got off the ground because of persistent injuries so he would be as aware as anyone of the importance of injury prevention and conditioning.
So in 2 weeks - Draper beats Fritz, Cressy beats Draper, Fritz beats Cressy!! Strange game, tennis.
