Even Dan Evans didn't come through qualis in 2018 (wasn't it?) when he had to play the wildcard play-offs coz the AELTC were being such snotty ****s

Katie Swan managed it last year.

But generally I've zero problem with us having no qualifiers - as you say, the whole point is that those who should qualify have already got MD WCs (as is good and proper, IMHO ) 

I see that the BBC Sports website is giving a link to showing qualifying "at the All-England Club".

 Didn't see a single ball of that but, to be honest, that's a better score than I'd expected.

So well done to Luca - he's a junior for another year, only 2005, so this was always an 'experience' thing for him, and to raise the value of the national championships. All good.
