Dan outplayed in opening set, oh heck

Rafa possibly going two sets all. Wow. Bottom half could be wide open if he and Berrettini both go out on the same day (for different reasons!)

 Thanks, great win. I saw him get a bit nervous at 6-3, but he held it together.

What a win and at what a moment

SO pleased for Ali G

He bottled the match I watched a week or so ago and I felt really badly for him - it must have been going through his mind - but he held strong

Haven't the lads done well so far????

Jay's result was definitely very disappointing - but his game doesn't really suit grass

But Ryan P, and Jack, and Ali - it's just brilliant

(And allez Liam ! And Evo - switch the 'on' button !)

Seven favourites (ok, six clear favourites, two too close to call) and only one little-to-no-hoper, though if Paul could pull off the win against Kyrgios, it would probably make me happier than any other win!

Expected value 5.7 - the expected value will usually be below the number of favourites if a clear majority are favourites to win.

So the expected number of R1 winners altogether (men and women) is 9.9, which still seems too 'out there' to be plausible but, should the number in R2 get into double figures, it would have me going back into the 20th century to find the last time it happened - unsurprising given the highest number of Brits in the singles main draws since 2001 and possibly the kindest set of R1 draws in living memory.

 At 7 so far with Liam, Dan, Harriet and Katie B playing or still to play. Feels like it could be a stretch to get to 9.9 (i.e 10) but 8 or 9 will hopefully be possible

This is the slowest I have ever seen Wimbledon, total joke, it is basically green clay.

Look at Lopez and Evans today, their slices are non existent

The courts need speeding up.
