I'm amazed that Otte who was a qualifier when he played Andy last year is seeded this year
When the initial entry list came out he was ranked 60th, but he had some good early grass season events, he was semifinalist in Stuttgart (lost to Berrettini) and Halle (lost to Medvedev) . So he got a decent number of points in short order and it propelled him to a seeding.
He is quite dangerous - in the matches he played in those two German events, he played 10 tie breaker sets in 16 sets played in total and won 7-3. He seems hard to break and secure on his service, pretty important on grass
Would hope for at least 4 or 5 wins from that draw, couldn't be much better! Paul Jubb definitely with the short straw and would take a mammoth effort (or a mammoth breakdown at the other end) to get past Kyrgios on grass, but looks like everyone else has a genuine chance of getting a win. If only there were ranking points on offer...

Sods law there are no points on offer the year our players get decent draws. Will be interesting to see whether there will be a court case come the end of the tournament, particularly if a low ranked player wins.
I see a big chances for Alastair Gray. He is in a solid form and been performing well in last few weeks. If he lose a match then it's always a close game. I wouldnt be surprised if he beat the young Tseng (even if I am not sure how good he is, especially on the grass). Alastair should have a big advantage of his strong service.

Tseng is the 2019 junior Wimbledon champion (beat Jack) was loitering around the 200 mark for quite a while but has started making progress recently

Does anyone know if itll still be a mandatory counter for those with WCs this year?
Presumably it cant be of there are no ranking points being awarded at all? They cant give them mandatory zeros Right across the board, that wouldnt be fair on the players that play. Unless Im misunderstanding the question ?
