Great to see the men at this level stepping up to challengers, and Billy in Italy too

Indeed and glad they seem to be giving the itf grass events a swerve. I hope Ali does also to be honest

Alastair lives right next to Roehampton, I believe - I think it makes sense for him to play there

I don't know if the other players are allowed to camp at the NTC for free?

But otherwise, you've got to stay at friends (if you have any locally - maybe at the Grays' ??? Tell mum and dad to expect guests ) or pay for hotels, or pay for the NTC, so it's not always that much cheaper than travelling

But for those who live really close, it makes sense to me to play the local event, and it's a 25k, not a 15k.

I also think there's a logic for those who really play well on grass, such as Ali, to get the biggest bang for the buck you can out of the surface - there will be plenty of time in the rest of the year to play challengers

Good stuff. Add on his 4 points for qualifying and it's 20 ranking points in total so far for Aidan. Showing as live ranked 333.

Aidan 3 wins and the title will give him top 250. Theres a lot of players dropping points ranked 230-280 over the next 5 weeks a few retired in there. Ali G will also move closer to the 250 regardless of him playing. If he wins Roehampton next week he will defo be top 250 and thats the 10

Feeling it yet BiS?
