Well, Finn did his job - eliminating the interloper - only for the Mexican to get a Lucky Loser spot - hmmmm

So did Mike Shaw, so at least that's one Brit

Wildcards for Toby Samuel, Arthur Féry, Will Jansen and Josh Paris - which all seems fair enough

Maceo Simpson is another LL.

There are 24 Brits in the MD. The 3rd quarter is all British with seeds (4) Dan C and (8) Mark W. Dan has an interesting R1 match against Arthur Fery.

 Good for Maceo !

(Although Tom Hands would have been my first choice and he didn't get one at all, even though everyone else did including Uncle Tom Cobley cry)

Looking at the draw on the ITF site, what appears to have happened is that (5) Jack PJ has withdrawn and been replaced in that slot by (9) Giles Hussey with (LL) Maceo Simpson coming in to takes Giles' original spot.

So we have (9) Giles Hussey vs Yannick Mertens and (WC) Wlliam Jansen vs (LL) Maceo Simpson.

How do you see the chance for Lui Maxted in the next round?
