George L to face the music in the FQR in the form of a Rod Stewart song wink

On a serious note - am intrigued to know why he's been out for so long. Anyone got any inside info?

Tom Hands beat Joe Tyler easliy

Following on from the livestreams from the US, I'm not won over by Joe's game - rather 'plodding' sort of tennis with some good winners but a LOT of errors

Tom, on the other hand, plays quite a dynamic, decent game

I had 10p on Kryan Magimay, based on the fact that the youngster has been playing quite a lot of tennis, and having some decent results, both in juniors and adults, and the one thing that can be said for sure about George Loff is that he's VERY rusty

It was pretty much as expected - George was OK - some good serving - but a little slow - and not 'sharp' - whereas Kryan had his eye in, even though he stands SO far back for grass tennis (but then, he's not that tall, and quite young)

Kryan ended up winning, in a MTB - it was a fair result, to my thinking

You seem to have the same problem with the spelling of Kyran's first name, CD, as seagull has with Harry Wendelken's surname (he consistently spells it "Wenkelden")....  wink

Seriously, do you happen to know why George has been AWOL for a while?

Just typo dyslexia - I was wondering earlier this morning whether he pronounced it Keiran/Kieran or K-eye-ran - so I do know that the 'r' doesn't come first - but my fingers don't always communicate with my brain..... ::((

Sorry, no real insight into George - had heard something about injuries, had heard something about his father wanting him to prioritise education but, honestly, I wouldn't put any weight on any of it ....
