So we're relying on Billy B. Max and Finn M to do us proud and get rid of the last of the foreign interlopers - and, so far, Finn is going great guns - 3-1 up in the first and Max won the first set

What cracking results !
I do love it when the glory gets passed around and shared - I feel it gives a far more solid base - you've got a whole heap of players, feeling positive going back the US, rather than just one or two - because, after all, Toby is hardly going to be gutted - he's already won a 25k - that's wonderful in itself.
Worth pointing out again that Patrick is only a junior, born 2004. That's a great win.
And thrilled for Max. I loved his tennis when he played those events in the UK during lockdown. And was then pretty disappointed when I saw some livestream from the US. Watched a little of this one - too long to do more !!! - and it seemed very close but he was more dynamic and into it
