Marcus tweeting that he is thinking of joining the ITF Over 30 circuit. Claims to have the hunger and to have a sponsor lined up.

But with Marcus, who knows.

Shame they dont have an over 30 circuit, but he can join the over 35s when he gets to the right age - Arnaud Clement is playing it this year !

30 would seem to me a weirdly early age for any overage circuit, considering many players are still around their peak at that age and play at a high level on the normal tour well past 30.

So yes 35 is probably the earliest logical overage base to have.

Turns out there is an over 30 category now. Used to be 35 but introduced - now branded the World Masters Tour

The term mature student says hello (uni/college students are classed as mature students at age 21).

That QF is a huge match opportunity for those two young players - I'd have thought Max may be pretty plum tuckered out after the 3.5 hours yesterday. But a SF spot in the 25k at stake - that's a nice counter.....

Not as hot a favourite as you'd expect from the odds: 1.53 v 2.37 - slightly generous to Max, I thought - but may well be wrong

Well, Max took the opening set so maybe the bookies know their stuff!
