It's really great to see Jack progressing along nicely and all that potential growing bit by bit.
Maybe on the women's side this same sort of progression would have been a much better route for Emma.
But of course we can't change things now.
Dan was brilliant and played really well - total control (based on watching the second set). I fell asleep on the sofa trying to stay up to watch Jack (yes he started at 10pm here ha!).
Beyond the brilliant result against Stef, lots of matches for Jack ahead of the open are really going to help him improve. Especially as he's had a few stop-starts with injuries.

I wouldn't want to. And I am sure overall Emma wouldn't want to change last September either!

I wouldn't change it either. I was more just thinking all the pressure Emma has on her, Jack's is probably less and maybe that helps his progression.
I don't know. There's no one way that is right or wrong and of course if I were Emma I wouldn't change last year either.
Well, I've not been catching up on results so I've no idea what's so doom and gloom - but I do know that Dan Evans has just played a brilliant end to the first set, after being well down, and won the first set TB, against Taylot Fritz
Just indulging in a spot of Emma Raducanu-style hyperbole (she claimed she'd died three times on court in her match against Osorio in Washington lst week) & followed one about Joe's & Rajeev's defeat by the South Ameican pair.
L16: Daniel Evans WR 39 defeated (10) Taylor Fritz (USA) WR 13 by 7-6(5) 1-6 7-5
A much tougher match for Dan today - much fewer opportunities to get to the net, and trickier once he was there, but another fantastic hustle. And only Dan's second Masters QF now I think? Great stuff.
