Dan was on the wrong end of two VERY long service games in set one and lost it 1-6. Paul was playing utterly brilliantly.

This second set Dan has done what he does best and started mixing it up and Paul hasnt respknded.

Dan isnt the best player but he is one of the best thinkers and hes just broken for *4-2

And holds. This is a fantastic match!

What an absolute corker of a third set - SO much respect, Dan - that was top tennis from both

What a brilliant match. Both players at times playing fantastically. Some glorious ralllies. But Dan comes out on top. So pleased for him. Served so well in the final set and mixed it up after the first set to push Paul out of his groove.

Fantastic match and so pleased that Dan came out on top in the end.

Need to go to sleep now - sorry Jack, would love to stay up but I have a long drive to Cornwall tomorrow! I hope to wake up to some more good news!

Dan up to live 23 and can only be lower than that on Monday if Jack goes and wins the title which would include a SF vs Dan.

Jack's first serve radar a bit awry early in his match against Carreno Busta but he managed to save 3 BPs in each of his first two service games so it's 2-1*

All the best Jack but it has to be good night from me and I really hope a good night for you.

Sadly not to be for Jack but what a week he has had

The scheduling for the semis is ridiculous, 1st semi at 6pm our time, 2nd semi scheduled 7 hours later.

Marvellous news re Evo and he also won the doubles to reach both semis. What a week and what a return to form.

Well done Dan! I saw he was down in the first set and really expected to see that he lost.
Great week for Jack too, despite the loss to PCB.
