Hopefully this run will get Jack a WC into Cinci. I see Andy is in qualies.

 Nope, Jack missed out.

Rats, I would have thought that that would have been a no brainer. Who got it?

They all went to Americans - Korda, macdonald , Wolf and Shelton

What an absolute corker of a third set - SO much respect, Dan - that was top tennis from both

Dan wins, 1-6 6-3 6-4

I went to bed after he lost the first set, assuming the worst.  Couldn't be more pleased to log on this morning to see that result!  biggrin

Given the number of injury problems Jack has had in the recent past I'm actually not sorry to see him having a week off after such an intense week here.  It will give him time to freshen up before the US Open

Fantastic Evo. Reaching the semi's and already back up to #23 on live rankings.
What a return to form for him.

Yes, that's a fair point, and the Americans always do give their WCs to their up and coming.

Well Dan lost the decider but still worth staying up for. Great tennis from both.

Didnt see it, but dans had a great week and can certainly look to maintain this and aim at the top 20 now. Good lad.

For the record:

SF:  Pablo Carreño (ESP) WR 23 defeated Daniel Evans WR 39 by 7-5 6-7(7) 6-2  cry

Still an excellent week for Dan & evidence of a timely return to form.

So I slipped into MTF and it appears that if anyone has a bit of time today the 2nd set is worth watching.
