 I know it sounds 'mean' but I do wonder what Alexis' plans are re his tennis

He was (IMO) always a fair way off the likes of Jay Clarke and Ryan Storrie, back at the age of 17 or 18. 

He didn't choose to go the US college route (unlike others in his year of his level - like Ewan Moore, say - which would have been sensible).

To the best of my knowledge, he hasn't done the UK uni route either.

Instead, he's played pretty much week in, week out, in the pros.

Was based at Bath for a while, I think. Certainly had Josh Goodall as his personal coach for a while. 

But his results are not getting better - and he's now 24....

Alexis seems to have very decent funds from somewhere as he certainly gets about the globe for clearly very little financial reward ( and indeed travelled a lot back in his junior days).

I get the impression he continues to live the dream of one day it will all begin to come together some time / somehow.

If he continues to enjoy the lifestyle and pursuing such dreams and can afford to do so, I guess why not. But yes it would be interesting to truly know more.
