Jodie did great, recovered well from dropping a close first set. Had a match point at 5-4* then saved break points at *5-5.

Super win.

I only watched the final tie break, but was impressed - early on she backed off from a winning position in a point, and you could see her then make a conscious decision to come forward and finish points. She did this, taking the ball out of the air for a winner, 4-5 times in the tie break, which shows real confidence and positivity under pressure.

Jodie is first match on Court 1. 11am local - 19:00 GB
Heather is second match on Polygon - after a men's match which starts at 10am local
Em and Heather play there doubles on Centre - gourth match
