Great doubles results, well done Lloyd and Jamie

Well pretty good anyway to reach their seeded SF spots

They are rather good at this stuff and have beaten pairs with CRs in the 200s in their QFs to reach these SF spots.

Though that is rather further than the top 2 seeded pairs, Mektic & Pavic and Dodig & Krajicek, have reached.

And plays WR 102 Huesler next so a decent chance at his second ATP semi-final of the year smile

Nice win for Jack - I watched some of Thiem and Dimitrov and was amazed to see that Thiem won as Dimitrov was dominating when I left it. Thiem isnt ready for Jack yet, see this as a Jack win.

And Thiem wasnt anywhere near ready for Jack!

Where do people think his play lies at the moment? He definitely seems to be playing higher than his ranking but I wondered how far he might go based on his game as it is right now?

Id say hes playing top 40 tennis consistently and could be seeded for Melbourne . He likes indoor tennis and the European venues in October will just help him moving up.

Thanks Jon. I'm sure he's one of the non seeds people don't want to be drawn against in the first round of the US Open!

I think Jon is probably right overall if you look at the average player he's beaten over the past few months. That said, I'd say his peak lay is much higher, definitely top 32. It's no fluke beating 4 top 20 players.

I don't think Jack fears anyone the other side of the net right now.
He clearly has confidence in his game and it continues to grow.
For sure he can end this season in the top 40 and I don't think long before he will be our no 2 behind Cam.
What is good right now is seeing 4 guys all in the top 60.

Definitely agree, Jack can make top 20. I think Dan could also but just only and probably wouldnt stay there, whereas Jack can and will.

Andy I dont see making top 20 again and fear hell float around the 40 to 60 range now until he retires in a year or so.

Jack is ranked 40 in the live race so is atleast playing that at level although realistically he's playing higher given that those above him will have been benefitting from playing higher level tournaments and will often have been seeded. There won't be anyone in the draw that would be happy playing him in the 1st round
