Yes, it was like MR saying 'please, you have it' and Sonay 'no, that's very kind but you have it'

2nd set wasn't that different. Sonay up a break, then down *2-5. MBR a nervous wreck trying to close out the match. Tiebreak similar. MBR with the win 7-6 7-6.

The rallies were interesting, especially compared to the rather dull Watson and Boulter matches.

Ach thought Sonay had the winning of that. Careless at the wrong moments although the Spaniard was regularly making life difficult for herself anyway.

Jodie hit so many super shots but even more horrible errors. I wish she would go for big targets rather than aiming to hit the sideline, then losing the point because the ball landed wide by a tiny margin. She can't afford to give away her serve the way she did in this match.
