Oh is she? I thought I'd seen on her social media last week she was travelling alone. That's good to know.

She recovers from *0-40 to have advantage twice but is broken and looks spent.

Only started watching near the end of 2nd set but so impressed by Katie's attacking tennis. It's amazing.

I think that is the first time one of our girls has reached a WTA SF this year, though Heather did win three rounds at Wimbledon and Harriet won three rounds in a WTA1000.

Linette is the only seed left in, so if Katie manages to win she would stand an excellent chance of a WTA title, however she will need to step her game up even further to win against Linette.

A brilliant achievement

Lots of tape on shoulder, forearm, etc - and obviously mega issues with health/the conditions/Lord knows what - but she's smiling at the end, at practically 3 am in the morning, having got just rewards for an amazing effort
