Nice to see Katie playing some doubles for more court time.

Emily could have done with being one name later out the hat. I've never really rated Kalashnikova in doubles but she always seems to manage to pick up enough good results to hang around the top 80.

Big win! Gutsy match point too, both girls did very well staying strong at the net. Penultamite volley Justina did a great job to control and a nice put away through the middle.

Relieved I didn't watch it live though, I'd have been falling apart when they went from *8-3 to 8-6* and *9-6 to 9-8* - let's just gloss over those back to back doubles on match point.... biggrin

Nice win, slightly nervy first set given recent lack of matches, but played solid. Seemed noticeably more confident in the 2nd set, and breezed through in the end.
