BUT he stands too far back - he always did, even as a junior - used to drive me mad
And he still does
It makes him very vulnerable to drop shots, which killed him in this match, or any short angles
But still promising overall, showing most definitely a level way better than his current ranking
Poljicak was drop-shotting like a kid trying out a new toy at Wimbledon, especially in the final, so I would have expected George to have been warned about that

Yes, it was weird, every time he got drop-shotted, George looked flummoxed/exasperated and you wanted to shout at the screen - what do you expect when you're SO far back and this is SO what the other guy likes to do?
Got me quite flummoxed and exasperated, I can tell you
Lajal was blinkin' lucky to be still standing today, so pleased he lost easily to our Art (I wonder if he goes by Art - it would make sense for someone who probably at home, at any rate, uses the French pronounication)
So is Arthur not going back to Stanford then. Not going to lie, think that would be a bit silly, as talented as he is, he really is up against it height wise. He is the same height as me 5'7 at the most. I'd be banking that degree
