Although, of course, when these points go on for Giles, Henry Patten loses his first chunk of points, which - at the moment - will take him down to about 490

It'll be close....

Wont be easy - Polijicak is the Wimbledon Boys champion and has already reached a challenger final as a 17 year old.

Well, that turned out to be a walk in the park

Arthur rather took the stuffing out of MP early on and the youngster sort of crumbled

I note that Arthur's coach is French (well, it could be his friend/brother/whoever, but it sounded more like a coach - not going crazy as a fan, but just commenting 'c'est bien, celui-la' etc etc).

It was no big call but, as said before, Arthur is a shoo-in for rapid entry into the top-500 if he plays enough events

I see Henry Patten is about to drop out the top 500 and Giles has covered his points dropping off so they will both be just outside in a couple weeks unless Giles takes the title, in which case Arthur will just be outside. Kyle is probably the key therefore for the 500 but he appears injured again so my prediction for the end of October is looking on a knife edge. Ali G and Billy in their challengers will be interesting to see if they can yield the 20-30 points needed as well.
