Of all the mega pro-GB odds this morning, the one that was the other way round was Ewan's

He SO nearly beat Ali G last week, he should have been favourite, in my view.

Unlike Harry and Pat being favourite, which was a little weird, I'd say, even though both may well win.....

Anyway, very happy that Ewan is really putting some good tennis out there on court

Very exciting for JoMo. I think he'd need to get fairly far in the tournament to get in the top 500, but I guess it all depends on who around him will be dropping points. Whatever, it's a big step forward for him and should do wonders for his confidence.

10 through round one isnt a bad effort given only 13 started out. Bottom quarter is all British as well, opportunity for someone.

That's a pretty horrid result from Aidan.

Lucas Poullain is a reasonable player, certainly better than his ranking, as he's had a real problem with an ongoing knee injury (a meniscus problem that kept him off the courts for at least a year, I think).

And he won five domestic money tournaments in France earlier this year, back to back - it was, as he says, an excellent way to get back in the swing of playing, with very low costs, and decent competition, and prize money

But, still, he's a guy Aidan should be beating, given Aidan's profile....
