Very exciting for JoMo. I think he'd need to get fairly far in the tournament to get in the top 500, but I guess it all depends on who around him will be dropping points. Whatever, it's a big step forward for him and should do wonders for his confidence.
Lucas Poullain is a reasonable player, certainly better than his ranking, as he's had a real problem with an ongoing knee injury (a meniscus problem that kept him off the courts for at least a year, I think).
And he won five domestic money tournaments in France earlier this year, back to back - it was, as he says, an excellent way to get back in the swing of playing, with very low costs, and decent competition, and prize money
But, still, he's a guy Aidan should be beating, given Aidan's profile....
