Been out of it all day, fighting with the bank.

So how does Harry's final place him points wise and rankings wise ? Is he close ?

He's possibly a win away. The fnal takes him to 59 points on Monday week. Winning it would take him to 68 points which might sneak in.

With Arthur clearly going to be in the top 500 now, on Monday week 24/10  you will have:

17 players clearly in then:

Harry on 59 or 68

Henry on 67

Giles on 60

Johannus on 59

Next in current projections for 24/10 are two on 52 points.

Kyle 52

Jack PJ 52

Thanks Indi.

Im assuming 68 points might be enough for 499 position and therefore in?

Never assume - the cut off keeps changing

He did say "might be"     I'd say it indeed might be.

You will have to wait until all this week's finals have been completed.
Currently at 66, but will increase. How much is anyone's guess

He made a final at Shrewsbury, but I believe it is his first title.

Either in or knocking on the door of top 500

There was a thread somewhere where I was twittering on about the 'Also Ran Cohort of 2001'

At the time, the 2001-ers were dominated by Jack Draper and Anton Mat.

But there was - as per the post - always a very strong back-up contingent.

Oscar Weightman, Blu Baker, George Loffhagen, Harry Wendelken, Jacob Fearnley, Connor Thomson

Many of those have continued to climb, steadily, in the right direction.

And, of course, Harry has just taken a BIG leap

Our 2002-ers have also been strong, with the original LTA favoured ones rather out of contention, allowing Felix Gill and Arthur Féry to rise and take their place

Now Johannus Monday has joined ranks, it's even stronger. And Toby Samuel, of course, has reappeared. And Max Basing was always on the list....

Which still begs the question as to why we basically have no 2000s (apart from Aidan), or 1999s (apart from Paul Jubb) .....

But maybe it's one of those things - or maybe there are college players from those year who might step up to the plate

(It doesn't look very good going the other way, though - 2003 and 2004 are very skinny, apart from Jack PJ and the possibility of some like Pat Brady, or the big serving kids who move into their own as they mature slightly).
