Feell very sorry for Sahej who has a lovely natural game (and goes by the moniker of 'The Smashing Sikh' )

He had a MP, but ended up losing the MTB, by 13-15 (!)

So victory to Millen Hurrion

Jack Gibbens also lost in a MTB to the American

Draw is out
Top 500 contenders
Harry W - needs 1pt, plays a Swiss qualifier
Giles Hussey - took a wildcard - drawn lucky loser Michael Shaw. With points dropping, may need a final to break into top 500

No JoMo in the draw....

Harry needs more than one point Id say because he is dropping 3 points the week after.

Hmm, wirh Stuart Parker also evidently a late withdrawal, 4 of the 5 top ranked Brits are in the top quarter with potential R2 matches of Aidan vs Harry and Arthur vs Dan.

The 5th, Giles, is also in the top half.

Very far from ideal. I guess the best hope from a short term top 500 point of view ( with Aidan, Dan and Arthur going to be in the 17 safely ensconced on Monday week ) is a Harry vs Giles SF with a Giles reaching the final. That would get both into the top 500 on Monday week ( Harry to 73 points, Giles to 74 points ), taking us to 19 in the tpp 500. Just a QF would leave Harry still precarious on 68 points with 3 points replacing the 3 points Jaggy mentions.

Then Jack PJ returns next week in the Las Vegas Challenger to gloriously storm into the top 500, making it 20 at 31/10

So wildcard Ben Jones plays wildcard Pat Brady.

Qulaifier Sean H plays qulaifier Billy B

Joe Tyler, who's a qualifier, plays a lucky loser

....

THat's some nice draws for the slightly lower ranked ones...

Top 1/4 looks very tough!

Q2 looks like an opportunity for Giles to get a win or two, Cukierman good though

Q3 - looking to see how Millen Hurrion does here.

Q4 - Anton, big opp down in this section

Nice start from George Loffhagen, who takes the first set 6-1 against the eighth seed. Hope he can keep it up.
