Excellent job, George

So pleased to see little fave back on the court, and letting rip with those forehands and serves (even if he is still 20 miles behind his line and couldn't hit a normal volley if his life depended on it )

QF: (WC) George Loffhagen WR 1499 def. Christian Sigsgaard (DEN) WR 946 6-4 6-2

Go on Anton - had a few issues getting over the finish line in some of his matches. Would be nice if he could win in straight sets.

Sadly went down in 3 sets, losing the decider 7-5

He had a break point at 4-4 in the third

Went for a winner/quasi-winner and just clipped the net with his backhand cross (got a bit excited and didn't quite execute the shot right)

It would have given him the game and to serve for the match.....

So close....

Aidan may have taught Arthur a lesson, but still a good three weeks for Aidan on the whole. This is the list of wins over the 3 weeks (with Aidan, Giles and George L still left in).

Whatever happens, Aidan will top the list still with an 11-2 W/L record. Giles is currently 8-2 W/L

11 Arthur Fery
8 Giles Hussey
6 Harry Wendelken
5 Dan Cox
5 George Loffhagen
4 Patrick Brady
3 Aidan McHugh
3 Anton Matusevich
2 Alastair Gray
2 Ben Jones
2 Ewan Moore
1 George Houghton
1 Jo Monday
1 Joe Tyler
1 Michael Shaw
1 Sean Hodkin

Think that win should push him back into the top 1000 Monday week.

I'd rather thought Aidan v Arthur would be a bit closer, but I suppose Arthur has played quite a lot these last few weeks. He's showed some promising signs nonetheless.
