Oh, I really enjoyed that match, but Hoped Jack would get the win, up until the last point.

I didnt really have time yeaterday to pay much attention to tennis so missed the Jack and Alcaraz match. It looks like Jack played really well and it was fine margins. Looking at the highlights, perhaps the court played slower than Jack would have liked and gave Alcaraz more time than ideal!

Jack has Paris next week and maybe a good run could get him close to AO seeding, but it will need a big week. Milan and the Next Gen finals is a big one for Jack and a chance to really make a profile name for himself in the tennis world.

One thing annoyed me - and you see this a lot - they both had the same Green and blue shirt on. I dont know if it is Nike or another brand but at so many events, both players will be in the same shirt. Surely they could ensure different shirts - I was watching it on my phone and struggled to see who was who at times. I know they are pushing the latest design but surely it could be avoided?

Andy plays tonight - amazing he hasnt played Basle since 2005! He must have chosen Vienna most years when fit as that seems an amazing stat to me!

Yet another of Nike's hideous designs. They seem to be obsessed this year with producing awful clothing. I suppose it is what sells in their stores.

Jack had the green shorts, Alcaraz the blue and it was Nike. I didn't mind the shirt personally but it looked better with the blue shorts. I've definitely seen worse

Its the fact both players had the same shirt. They should have more than one design and ensure players dont both wear the same. Simples. However hideous they are! Even with the Green and blue shorts, it is hard to tell when not watching on a decent screen or too closely. Jack obviously also had a cap on so I worked it out, but

Stu Fraser's report on Jack's match in today's Times - complete with the news that Djokovic has hopes of competing in next year's Oz Open.  I see what people mean about the absolutely ghastly shirts!  vomit.gif
