Disappointing for Joe and Rajeev. I think it means that if Neal and Wes can win the event, then they will be above Joe and Rajeev at season end , regardless of what happens in Turin - if Neal and Wes get no points in Turin and Joe and Rajeev get 1500, they would still be short if Neal and Wes go on and win here.
I think , though, it is fair to say Neal and Wes are clear favourites to be season end top dogs.
Jon, please stop referring to Wesley as "Wes" unless you have evidence that proves that that is how he refers to himself. If you have, then fine. Otherwise it seems a wee bit too casual/familiar (unless you know him personally, of course!) - & really irritating. Just because a name can be shortened doesn't mean that it automatically should be. I've known plenty of Michaels who didn't go by "Mike" or "Mick/Mick(e)y", Andrews by "Andy", Davids by "Dave", Anthonys by "Tony", Stephens by "Steve", Alexanders by "Alex" or Matthews by "Matt", so I prefer to have proof before I use the diminutive &, in any case, always use full first names when I'm posting draws.
As far as I can see Google brings nothing up for ""Wes Koolhof" and suggests I want Wesley Koolhof for which there is loads.
It's not something that actually really bothers me at all from others but kinda why I personally refer to ""Wesley" and also for instance "Lissey and Olivia" since I know Lissey uses well Lissey but don't know about Olivia although seems by usage here that she maybe is a Liv

Oh there was definitely a crazier one a while ago from Jaggy who objected to our use of nicknames at all - even if that was what they were known as.

To be honest, why is your (SC) opinion any different to Jon's? It's another way of trying to impose your opinion on everyone on the board because you don't like it, like several other things. Just roll your eyes and move on.
Not going to lie, it grinds my gears too. I despise having my name shortened and will pull people up on it when they call me Em. I guess it's something that people can only sympathise with if they get called something they don't like. Lots of forms will ask for given name and name you go by so it's obviously important to a lot of people
Being frank theres battles to fight and battles to not get Involved in. This is one that isnt worth the fight. I really cant be bothered Arguing about it, silly and petty though it is. There
are much more important things in life and i think the reaction to my use of Wes was completely over the top:
Good luck to Neal and Wesley today , although on this Occasion ( and not related to this discussion ) I actually would like To see Lloyd and Harri win it. I wont be able to follow it though , Im at an FA Cup tie with my son .
