Thats a result and a half there, not had much luck last few months so that win was needed to keep in the higher half of the 250.

Dont want anyone dropping down now

Paul is up to live ranked 211, close behind Jay live ranked 208.

We have 6 players clearly in the top 200 and fairly recently both Jay and Paul were briefly inside giving us 8 in the top 200. It would be great if one or both could end this year in that top 200.

Looking at Steven's stats, it is1995 since we had 7 in the top 200 at year end and 1978 since we last had 8 at year end. 2012 saw Andy win Olympic Gold and the US Open but also saw him end that year as our one player in the top 200.

britishtennis.net/stats/ye-m.htm

PS: I also note from thst table that from 1973 to 2018 we have never had as many as 4 players in the top 50 at the end of the year, and it certainly hasn't happened either since 2018. Biut we currently do have 4!

 Very pleased biggrin

It was only once, and he was pretty young, but having seen Mmoh behave pretty badly as a junior, I'm not a fan - and, of course, on the contrarty have always beena big fan of Paul

So, it's a win-win
