Good run by Paul which is great to see.

He does seem to be playing slightly differently to how he has played at times this year. Just going for his shots more and playing with more fluency. Not sure if he's had some good coaching or just the fact that he's had a long run without injury has made the difference. It's been a really good run and a good platform to build on for next season.

Big day for Paul today and could be a great day for the Brits if Henry and Julian do well in their final !

If all their points were counted towards the race, theyd be around 25th ranked pair. Thats decent from challengers largely. Great season and looking forward to seeing them on the tour.

With Ken and Dom retiring I wondered where the next doubles pairs would come from, these guys and Lloyds rise are nicely timed

Dont seem to be playing next week. But still another 3 weeks after that of available play. Will be interesting to see if they play any.

However a great few weeks with 3 straight titles!

Jubby loses the first set on a tiebreak. Which is a shame as I'm finding his opponent, Shelton quite annoying with his celebration for every point he wins!

Theyve signed in to Knoxville after not being on the advanced entry.

Jubb deservedly takes the second set 6-3. Let's hope he continues with the momentum.

Unfortunately, couldn't get it over the line and loses 7-5 in the final set despite breaking Shelton early on. Feels like a wasted chance.

SF:  (6) Ben Shelton (USA) WR 156 defeated Paul Jubb WR 220 by 7-6(6) 3-6 7-5  hmm

He was up a break in the middle of that third set.

Paul was in control half way through the final set, dominating from the back of the court and good at the net.
However an error strewn service game allowed the American to break back and then he dominated the remainder of the set.

It was lovely to see how much they were both enjoying that match
Paul even raced to the net and high-fived Ben after one point when Ben had played an amazing unorthodox shot after a really weird net cord and won the point
They were both laughing
