Such a shame that with so many British men in the doubles, there is no mention of it on the BBC website.

Agreed and none of the Mike Dickson or stuart frasers are tweeting results or the like.

Lloyd and Harri didn't really get a look in today. Lloyd served brilliantly but I think he probably landed 3 returns all match - tho to be fair Joe and Rajeev also served very well.

Harri and Lloyd could lose their last match and still go through or win and go out (though winning can in no way harm them and greatly increases their chances).

I make it Harri and Lloyd need to win in straight sets to guarantee it and Joe and Rajeev just need a single set.

Rafa goes out . Cant see he will play his final group match, might be wrong ?

Neal and Wes tomorrow mornings match , as said above, be great if they can win. So far, Brits are 4 wins 1 loss. And not a
Mention in the press, anywhere

Nadal going out and Tsitsipas losing his first match confirms the absent Alcaraz as the end of season WR 1.

A tiny mention by the BBC, near the end of an article about Rafa. Not good enough !

"Meanwhile, Britain's Joe Salisbury and American Rajeev Ram, who successfully defended their US Open title this year, beat Lloyd Glasspool and his Finnish partner Harri Heliovaara in the men's doubles 7-5 6-4."

 agreed!

Meanwhile, Neal and Wes lose the opening set 6-4 versus Mektic and Pavic, dont want to lose at all but certainly not in 2 sets

Yes,, thpigh with Kokkinakis & Kyrgios beatimg Dodig & Krajicek they are not into a straight shootout against Dodig & Krajicek.

They do need to win it to have a chance but they might still be the ones who lose out if the match wins finish 2,/2/2/0. They would now definitely not get through in a 3/1/1/1 scenario.

certainly makes it interesting! With Mektic and Pavic through I sort of fancy K & K to be more up for it and win that one, maybe in a MTB. So Neal and Wes will need to win. I think the tie break would be on the three tied only, is that right, ie the bottom team goes out of the equation?

So M & P are currently 4-1 and a 3 set loss would take it to 5-3

K&K are 3-3 right now, is that correct? so that result would make it 5-4

Neal and Wes would need to win in straight sets in that case to come back to 4-3 and get 2nd spot on percentage of sets won. A 3 set win wouldnt cut muster.

If K&K win in straight sets they go to 5-3 and M&P go to 5-4, so again Neal and Wes would need to win in straight sets.

So: Neal and Wes need to win; any win is fine if Mektic and Pavic win their match with K &K. If K&K win, then Neal and Wes need a straight sets win.

Going to be tough.

But, first of all, we have the Joe and Lloyd matches tomorrow.

Good stuff and calculator time

So in the singles.

No calculators and all clear cut

Ruud will play winner of Tsitsipas or Rublev in the semis

Djokovic will play winner of Fritz or FAA in the second semi

Nadal and Medvedev are both out, although still due to play a final round robin match

Lloyd and Harri on at 1030 today against Granollers and Zeballos

Joe and Rajeev play at 1730 against Arevalo and Rojer

A win for both pairs would be great
