So as far as I understand it for Neal and Wes to go through Mektic and Pavic have to win.
That would be correct - If K and K win by any score, both they and M & P would have a better sets record than Neal and Wes (who are 4-4 w/l; M & P are 4-1 so cant go behind them and a win for K&K would take them to 5-4 or 5-3 depending on the score.
So yes, a win, any win, for M&P will see Neal and Wes through, otherwise they are out.
I clearly want Neal and Wes through but I actually think it is better for the game and doubles profile if K&K win and head on through; they are the box office pair here and the outliers as a none doubles focused pair. Press focus would be more; personally, I like them as players and as a pair. So I want M&P to win for Neal and Wes and GB, but ...
RR3: (1) Wesley Koolhof (NED) & Neal Skupski CR 2 (1+1) vs (5) Ivan Dodig & Austin Krajicek (CRO/USA) CR 17 (8+9) - in play, first set to Neal & Wesley by 7-5
But the second set goes the way of the fifth seeds by 6-4. Squeaky bum time!
Yes I wish it had all been right and that they had a little additional safety net. But very vulnerable now. Betting odds can hardly split the final match
At least getting the win in the end keeps them still in it to wait and hope. About a 50% chance is better than 0% chance.
C'mon Mektic & Pavic !

SF: (4) Nikola Mektic & Mate Pavic (CRO/CRO) CR 17 (10+7) vs (6) Lloyd Glasspool & Harri Heliövaara (FIN) CR 26 (12+14) - 10.30 tomorrow
SF: (2) Rajeev Ram (USA) & Joe Salisbury CR 7 (3+4) vs (1) Wesley Koolhof (NED) & Neal Skupski CR 2 (1+1) - also, apparently, at 10.30 tomorrow
Theres no official schedule out yet as far as I can see; no times allocated
certainly ATP site and TNNS arent showing a Saturday schedule yet [...]
I agree that it's not on the ATP site. The times I quoted were taken from Sofascore, hence my use of "apparently" before the time of the second SF as I found it a bit strange. Perhaps the site was hedging its bets...
The schedule is up now - and just as JonH predicts
Ha, not clever though - its the way theyve done it for several years, the Friday evening players dont play early Saturday (as it wouldnt be fair) if they can avoid it. Not always possible of course , as the semis draw doesnt always allow that schedule to be applied!
Tsitsipas doesnt have much respect for Rublev! When you lose, mate, just keep quiet!
It's a shame," he said in his post-match press conference. "I feel like the better player. I felt like I could do more with the ball today. I felt like I could just be much more creative. I don't even have to say that. I think it's quite obvious.
"But, yeah, he prevailed with the few tools that he has. He was able to really take advantage of them and win today."
