that is a disappointing result. Billy seems, like others, to have hit a slight ceiling again to the extent he isnt playing to his ranking really - Ali G falls into that, Paul Jubb was but has come back to form recently. Seems we had a great run in the first half of the year for many players and maybe they are all getting tired now after a long season?

I understand any player looking to push on, theres still good opportunities to pick up points (and cash!) but when disappointing results come in you cannot help but wonder if a decent time off/training block may be more beneficial?

Hardly unexpected.

That loss is nowhere near as bad as it looks on paper for Billy.

Should have done Challengers, Marcus ....

QF: (WC) Adam Jones & Damian Rodriguez UNR (1637+0) def. Scott Duncan & Marcus Willis CR 848 (383+465) 6-7(1) 7-6(7) 13-11

that's a really, really punishing scoreline.....

Congrats to Damian who, I assume, will now get a dubs ranking

Mensik went on to beat Cukierman in three sets & thus reach the quarter-finals.
