There's two LL spots - one got a WC, one got a Qualifier - Ali would have been better off to have lost :(

Now he'll just have to go on and win it !

Brilliant

I'm actually really pleased for him - he's been trying hard this year, enteringlots of tournaments, and has finally got his ranking AND with a lovely win over a seeded, well-ranked player

I saw Ali play once, when he was only 17 or so, and have always had a bit of a soft spot for him

Well done !
