The increase in mens singles titles is dramatic. Backing up all the other stats people track here, like the top 500, the strongest nation. Its a startling and exciting improvement.
I have just posted this in the 2025 tities thread and thought it worth copying across here:
"As I said elsewhere, GB was looking very good for comparative 2025 men's ITF titles and according to Wikipedia, we are now joint top for the USA for most total men's ITF titles, and top for most men's singles titles. I can tie up our 45 singles titles so I assume the rest is right. Anyway, tight between the top 4 who are well clear of the rest.
1. GB 85 (45 S + 40 D ) 1. USA 85 ( 36 S + 49 D ) 3. Italy 83 ( 44 S + 39 D ) 4. France 80 ( 43 S + 37 D )
The men's singles titles figure this year is remarkable. And it is good to see how it has contributed to so much more depth in say our numbers in the top 250 and top 500, from which hopefully a number can progress very much higher.
