Jay needs to get back to winning ways pretty quickly to avoid a big rankings drop - soon to defend points from being runner-up in one of last years Forli challengers to a certain Mr. Jack Draper.

And Jay does indeed make a winning start - the 323rd ranked Decamps decamps from the singles event after a 7-6 (7-4) 6-1 win for our guy.

Hope for a better year for him after the injury struggles of recent months.

Soo good to see Jay get that win. Needed to get a positive result as early as possible after the last 3 months of last season. Hopefully its
The first of many wins this year.

Hope for a better year for Jay. His results really seemed to go backwards imo last season. I always thought he would be top 100 by now as he seemed to be flying a few years back.

I has a feeling that the Israeli might prove to be a banana skin despite his current lowly status.

Another successful Anglo-Dutch partnership in the making?  A tight match, but they came through it.   smile
