RE: Weeks 3 & 4 - Australian Open - men's singles (outdoor hard)

Phew animated emoticon   L64:  (11) Cameron Norrie WR 12 defeated Constant Lestienne (FRA) WR 55 by 6-3 3-6 7-6(2) 6-3

He'll have to play better than that in his next match:

L32:  (11) Cameron Norrie WR 12 vs Jiri Lehecka (CZE) WR 71 (CH = 59 last August)

Lehecka - I know very little of him to be honest. Cam has played and won twice, most recently in Auckland last week. Both matches have been 3 sets and Cam has lost the middle set

Watching Cam. Is it my screen, or is the camera behind the server at the end that the first two games have been served from in the 4th got a blurred bit in the middle.

The radio commentators mentioned that the camera lens could do with a wipe!

Norrie beat a young Lehecka in 3 sets in the Davis Cup a couple of years ago before his top 100 breakthrough. It will be another tough match.

Mens 3rd round top half

Men's R3 - top half

McDonald vs. [31] Nishioka
[18] Khachanov vs. [16] Tiafoe

[10] Hurkacz vs. [20] Shapovalov
[7] Medvedev vs. [29] Korda

[3] Tsitsipas vs. Griekspoor
[15] Sinner vs. Fucsovics

[11] Norrie vs. Lehecka
[6] Auger-Aliassime vs. [28] Cerundolo

second group with Medvedev stands out to me. 12 of 16 seeds survived

FREE TENNIS ON SKY ALERT.

Putting this in capitals just to let everyone know that if you have Sky Q or Sky Glass you now get discovery plus with sports for free. Before this week it was the plain discovery for free without sports but they have now added the Sports so thats a saving of £6.99 a month for free.

If you are already paying seperately through discovery then cancel it and use your free one with sky.

I only found this out when I went to log into my Eurosport Player app that I had been paying £40 a year for. It no longer exists and asks you to log in via discovery. Advice would be cancel this altogether like I just did and use the free one.

Basically means you can watch any court and similar with any Snooker and cycling fans

Yeah there seems to be a workaround if you log in elsewhere. I managed to get into my account to close my auto renewal of £40 due at the end of the month. The Discovery Sports free with Sky started last week I believe according to google. Surprised they didnt push it in the media but they maybe thought keep it quiet so Discovery and Eurosport dont get loads of cancelled subscriptions Im thinking.

I think it might be UK residents that have Eurosport player retired first not sure if you are in Europe or elsewhere Seagull?

I  won't be able to watch much tomorrow morning so  would  be glad to read a commentary./.... but also can read BBC's text, so take a break if it suits you.

Actually he does look quite cool in it but  still think it inappropriate for an important tennis match.
