3-3 and a very weird point here. Evans broke Chardy but just as Chardy netted the umpire called let as a ball fell out his pocket. Dan has sat down umpire has given him the game but Chardy is still on court thinking its a let. Dan meanwhile still sitting down. 2 minutes of discussion thus far.

Pretty straightforward for Dan never really in doubt was supremely confident and moved very well.

Some interesting results in Murrays quarter of the draw here.

2nd seed Casper Ruud who would be his quarter final opponent on ranking is 2 sets to love down to Brooksby and also has a medical time out.

23rd seed Diego Schwartzman 2 sets to love down to Wolf.

30th seed Davidovich Fokina is out to Tommy Paul in 5 sets.

If they all fall would leave only 8th seed Fritz and 24th Bautista Agut left. Both still to play.

Brooksby is a joy to watch just now totally dominating Ruud pushing him from side to side with some great flat hitting. 2 sets and 4-2 up at the moment.
