 Not sure what the injury was but he did have a Medical Time Out at 5-2 in the 1st.

Good play from Jack - not outclassed at all - the right guy won but there was nowhere near as much in it as the rankings would suggest - jack had a couple of costly double faults in the third set, just at the wrong moments, and Gomez was just that tiny bit more composed.
But super play overall from Jack PJ again the top seed
