That was a very competent match from George who really has Aidan's number (having beaten him a few weeks ago, that time in two sets)

Very good pace off his groundshots, good serving, nothing from Aidan to really threaten him ....

Hamish was a very good junior been at college in USA now getting good results

Aidan has reached a plateau I have seen him play many times in Glasgow since aged 17 he seems to be struggling over last 6 months ranking on downward projectory he did win the Glasgow M25 in Autumn last year beating Peliwo

With our top 500 contenders struggling to get over the line, good to see the likes of George and Dan picking up good points and moving into range.

Hamish is having an excellent couple of weeks so far this month. Going to follow his results with interest - silly question, probably, is he Scottish (as in born and living in or just from Scottish family background).

I recall Hot Shot Hamish Balfour of Tiger and Scorcher boys comic back in the very distant day!!

He is Scottish. Watched him as a junior and he had Scottish coaches with him.
