Not true - see, for example, this report on the first final he reached in the Uganda F1 Futures in May 2018.  wink  More information on page 88 of this forum (Week 18).  I well remember the excitement his progress caused.

Would be great to see Marcus Willis at Wimbledon; wonder if there's any chance?

Nothing to stop him buying a ticket like everyone else, so every chance of bumping into him at the food court.

Loughborough was pretty successful for George - LTA report on the week (shame the reporter couldn't spell Phoenix!).

I actually meant won a title - at least his itf profile shows he hasnt won a title- not a reached a final. It was just a simple mistake.

George played decent tennis - and the best volleys I've ever seen him do

But Jules was that bit too solid for him - age 31, with SO much team tennis and money tournaments behind him, he knows how to eek out a win, and he soaked up George's pace and then added some

But a good week for George
