As I suggested elsewhere before I have never really thought that Sonay had gone backwards.

Yes, in rankings because she lost early in higher level tournaments then didn't defend her W25 titles of last year. But I think her level has been fairly consistent when she has played. Though, yes, it would be good to push on and there are clearly areas for improvement.

Bit scrappy in this match. But worth remembering that this time last year the ladies had never won a 60k.

I notice Alicia at least is entered for a couple of 40ks after this. Seems like they want to get a lot of matches under their belts while the main tour is at IW/Miami.

They wouldn't make the draws in either of those events so might as well gets the matches and points bagged before the clay.

Yes, same tournaments as Em ! (Although neither is likely to make it into qualifying - and the doubles advanced entry only shows for next week)
