POOR Kyle - he'd done all the hard work, scrapped back, was 30-0 up at 5-6. Got dragged to the net unwillingly and left a ball that landed miles in. And then was so cross with himself for leaving it, he sort of went to pieces.
Lost the set 7-5
I only saw the end as was watching Andy but, you could see Kyles talent but he looked very unfit. I can't see whats to be gained by coming in at a Slam or Masters, surely he would benfit by dropping down and getting some matches under his belt regardless of the level?
To be fair, he was always a bit flat-footed, even at his peak. He ran down some excellent balls, and moves fine once he gets going, but he's not dynamic.
But yes, I agree, I think some lower level events would be good. But I guess he's got his PRs to use - I don't know the exact rules for how long they last, how other events affects them etc.
First two weeks in April , hes entered various European challengers like Murcia/Barletta and then Leon and others - but hes not used a PR and is some way off entry. Week of 19 April, he is into Munich ATP 250 using his PR.
Murcia ?
Hes in the alts lists for 2 or 3 each week so whether he will play or not ?

I can be an idiot at times - particularly after 48 hours on the road and not knowing what planet I am on.
I googled 'Challenger Entry Lists' and saw this link in the results. I thought - 'I want tennis, not darts' - so didn't bother to click on it.
I think I'll go back to bed for the rest of the day.
Have you not used it before - I am sure you have?! It is a strange one , isnt it, that a mainly Darts website seems to have tennis as its secondary focus and ends up probably being the best tennis entry lists resource out there at ATP and Challenger level (which is my main interest), for men's at least.
They seem to have stopped doing womens as discussed elsewhere, after a trial, so not sure if that will come back or how one might get a similar resource for womens entry lists in one single place ? Anyone have a good single resource for WTA or one in general which is better than Darts for entry lists for men and women?

The Spanish run is this weeks event followed by Girona (Liam entered), Murcia and Madrid (Leon is Mexico of course!), so not sure if any of those others are near you. Then its onto Barcelona for big boys tennis.
L64: Grégoire Barrère (FRA) WR 65 (CH = 58 last month) vs (11) Cameron Norrie WR 12
L64: (23) Daniel Evans WR 29 vs Lorenzo Sonego (ITA) WR 59 (CH = 21 in October 2021)
And both play today, its seemed a long lead in for them, I found the downside of these 96 draw events is the first few days from Wednesday to the weekend seem very slow
