Billy served for it once at 5-3. He got a bit tight on a couple of points when serving for the match, and that was all that stopped him taking the vital game really. After that he was never really in it.
Lots of positives to take out of this week, it's a shame but no big deal that he didn't close this one out, that's tennis, his first Challenger final so tension is going to paly a big part.
He's been a pro for a long time and if this can be used as a springboard for the next leg up in his career it is looking positive for him. Congtratulations Billy on a great week.

Yes what a shame.  He certainly got tight when serving for it! All experience I guess and lets hope he can use that to work his way up the rankings.

Billy played very well in set 1 and most of set 3.
His ground shots and depth were very accurate and forced Grenier very deep and this was why he was successful.
Nerves kicked in and he went a bit passive and made more errors.

Great run this week. Hopefully he will be full of confidence and he can kick on.
